How to make an LED banner on your phone

  1. Type your message – emoji welcome.
  2. Choose a color, speed and size. Bright text on black is easiest to read from far away.
  3. Tap Play full screen and turn your phone sideways.
  4. Tap Share link to send the same sign to a friend – it opens ready to play.

Keep your sign ready without a signal.

Signs for every moment

Going to Worlds 2026? Team cheer signs →

Through Nov 15 UTC, the preset picker leads with a Worlds group—including T1 FIGHTING!, GEN.G, IG, DK, BLG, and KC chants.

Concert & K-pop signs

Many venues ban posters and light-up signs, but your phone usually gets in. Scroll ONE MORE SONG! or your bias's name in their color, and keep it below head height so fans behind you can still see. Always follow the venue's rules.

Game day

From the bleachers to the sports bar, a bright LET'S GO! gets the cameras' attention. Use your team color on black.

Airport pickup sign

Skip the printer. Type the passenger's name, choose Static mode, and hold your phone up at arrivals. Big white letters on black are the easiest to spot.

Birthdays & parties

Surprise someone with HAPPY BIRTHDAY across the room, or count down to midnight on New Year's Eve.

Quiet communication

In a loud room – or when talking isn't easy – a big static message says it for you.

Halloween LED signs, ready in one tap

Trick-or-treating after dark? Hold up a glowing HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃 so neighbors see you coming, or show BOO! at the party door. Pick a Halloween preset above and keep the sign at a comfortable brightness.

  • Orange or purple on black reads best in the dark.
  • Keep it short – 2 to 4 words scroll cleanly.
  • Static mode is easier to read from a moving group.

FAQ

Is this LED banner free?

Yes. The web LED scroller is free with no sign-up and no ads.

Is my text uploaded anywhere?

Your banner is drawn in your browser, not uploaded by this tool. If you choose to share, the link contains your text after the # sign. Browsers do not send that fragment to our server; anyone you share the link with can read it.

How do I get full screen on iPhone?

Tap Play, then turn your phone sideways. Safari may keep its toolbar. For native full screen, use the free Cheer Loop app.

Will my screen stay on while the sign is showing?

On most modern browsers, yes – we ask your phone to keep the screen awake while the banner plays. If your browser doesn't support it, raise the auto-lock time in Settings.

Can I use my phone as a concert sign?

Usually, yes – phones are allowed at most venues even when posters and light-up signs aren't. Check your venue's policy and keep the sign low enough not to block anyone's view.

Does it blink?

Only if you turn Blink on, and it is capped at 2 flashes per second. If you have Reduce Motion turned on, it slows down further.

Does it work offline?

The page needs a connection to load. For signs that work with zero signal – like in a packed stadium – use the Cheer Loop app.

What's the best color for a phone LED sign?

High contrast wins: yellow, white or cyan on black. Red looks great up close but is harder to read from far away.
